Prayer Request


My great Father in Heaven,
Thank you for the laughter, love, and blessings you've given me today. I'm glad You do push me to the point where I'm so overwhelmed that I have no choice but to turn to You. Fire isn't comfortable, but it does purify, so thank you.
Thank you for Your Son, my Savior and brother and redeemer. Life wouldn't be worthwhile without Him.
I'm still feeling a great amount of stress. I'm not strong enough to deal with even one of these stresses, let alone all of them. I'm weak, but I know You are strong. So Father, I'm surrendering my stresses to You to take care of and deal with. I surrender to You how I stress when I'm criticized, not to help me, but to tear me down. I surrender the stress my brother brings into my life. He's an addict. I surrender the stress I feel when he's itchy from being high, how he won't sleep, how he'll pace, how he doesn't think his addiction hurts anyone else, the odd meetings in front of the house that we are sure have been drug deals, how none of us trust him, how he tears the family apart, how he'll wake us up at all hours of the night, how he guilt trips my parents, how he tells half-truths, how he makes me feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I can't hold any of that any longer Father. It's crushing me and stunting me from carrying on in my life.
I ask You to cast out these stresses from my life, in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. And I ask that You will replace them with Your love and joy.
Thank You Father. I love you and am truly nothing without you.
