Prayer Request


My great Father in Heaven,
I have my jealousy that I need to surrender to You. I give it over to You, to rid me of it, heal what harm it's done to me, and have me be more like Your Son.
Father, I surrender to you the jealousy I feel when someone else has what I want, be it body, looks, money, relationships, acceptance, fame, glory, appreciation, etc. the jealousy I feel when I want good attention from a friend, family member, or lover and they give it to someone else. The jealousy I feel when someone gets more praise than I do, or popularity, while I get nothing. The jealousy I feel that some others don't have to work as hard as I do to get anywhere in life.
I know You have blessed me, and I don't want to hurt You by my jealousy. Please forgive me, Father. In Jesus most holy name, I pray and ask You of these things, amen.
