Prayer Request


Please pray for me, in particular for strength and will power. I'm quitting smoking and know all the prayers will help.. I've smoked for thirteen years and kind of fear the withdrawals but know God will help me. Thanks in advance for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated!

Praying for you for sure. Also, google smoking and lung cancer, and you'll see some things that might make smoking seem less attractive. I'm happy that you lungs will go back to being pink and healthy.

I have, I've been praying for a while for God to give me migraines or whatever to make me stop like he has friends of mine but since God didn't, I feel kind of like He is teaching me something.. like He is telling me, I'm here for you, to give you strength and will power but you have to put it into action.. I feel like He is teaching me a life lesson so that I will be mature, not lacking anything. My whole family smokes is what is going to be hard on me and stress they put on me. but I know I need to learn how to deal with all this without smoking that cigarette. thank you for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated & needed..I know I can.do this, I just have to keep the devil out of my ear and I know it is written that if I resist the devil, he will flee so that's what I have to do. I really do appreciate the prayers! Thank you!

Truly I'm so happy for you that you're quitting. Your teeth and skin and breath will be so healthy. And you will enjoy better health. Maybe God is using you as an inspiration for other people in your family? So that if you stand up to the Devil, others in your family can too? I don't know, I just know that you have a purpose in God's plan. I will continue to pray for you.
