Prayer Request


Father i've shed tears tonight in desperation. Please oh please hear my cries Lord. Fill me with your compassion and love. I need you now Lord. Lord i need a financial break-through. My family is struggling to keep the bills paid. I am 33 and have been living with them b/c of losing my job. I was out of work for 2 years and 11 before getting hired just four days ago. I feel like a burden. I don't want to eat anything of theirs that i didn't buy, i try to limit the number of showers i take and how long they are to avoid excess water usage, etc. I am trying to be as mindfull of what i add to their expenses. They have always been there for me and i know it was hard for my mom to ask me to contribute monthly towards the bills.

I've always told my mom anything they need and any money i should give them, was theirs no questions asked. I have never asked for so much as a penny from my parents in my life. I was raised to not expect non-monetary rewards and to work hard for whatever you want. I've paid my way as best as i can. Knowing they need help to pay for the beautiful home they have provided for me and my brother is heart breaking. I have over 53k in student loan debt and a job that barely covers a monthly payment for that, but i would gladly give my last to help my family. We have always been good people who help even the most distant of strangers unknown to us. We go to church, pray and read the Bible. We've asked the Lord into our lives and try to serve him in all ways at all times. The devil wants us to think God has forgotten us, but my faith doesn't think so. I need God to intervene on our behalf. When we go through such times, i know he wants us to cling tighter to him. My knuckles are turning white from my grasp on my faith in the Lord.

Please stretch forth your capable and merciful hands upon me and my family Lord. The well is running dry and we seek abundance in the area we need the most help. Please remove this burden from us Lord. Please pray for me.
