Prayer Request


The woman friend of mine that I asked out was already dating another guy and had to turn me down. While I am not sad at this fact as she has always been good and kind to me in the short time I've known her, I still feel sorrow and disappointment because I was sure I pursued the right kind of woman. I pray that God will help me to overcome this and allow me to wait on Him to bring another person who is like her and shares my values and interested into my life who I can meet, get to know and pursue for the purpose of seeing if marriage is possible. I know it will be challenging to deal with and overcome how I felt about my friend. I pray that I will not be hung up over what I felt for her so much that I will miss the one who God brings into my life to try again. I am sure I will marry at some point and hopefully soon. And I also pray that the unavailable friend will always pray for me to find someone and for is to stay friends and not stop associating because I had the courage to ask for one date. I pray these in Jesus' name Amen
