Prayer Request


Dear heavenly Father, thank you for this beautiful day which you have made. Thank you that I can rejoice and be glad in it and that I can praise you no matter what! Thank you sovereign Lord that you are in control, that you have a plan and that you are full of love, compassion and grace! You are worthy of all praise, honor, glory and power! Please provide me with wisdom and discernment that I may do your will and think about what is pure, right, just, and good. Please mould and change me that I may be more like your humble Son the Lord Jesus, that I may be servant hearted like he is. Thank you soo much for your word which is holy, truth and powerful to change lives! Thank you that you speak through your word and that you make your character known. Thank you that I can read of all the ways that you worked in the OT and NT and that I can see your mercy and justice displayed. Thank you for the book of Nehemiah, that I can read of his courage, strength and reliance on you. Thank you that he was on solid ground with you, that he wasn't washed over by the water of persecution and threats. Thank you that Nehemiah wasn't tempted to disobey you, to worry about what people may do to him, and that he just trusted in you. Thank you that you are faithful, that you will never leave me nor forsake me and that you always do what's best for me. Please help me to be living fully for you - that I would be looking to the cross of Christ, remembering His obedience, His amazing character and all the promises you have made and all the blessings I have in Jesus! Thank you that you are such an amazing God, that you are AWESOME! I pray that I would live a life that brings glory to you - that those around me would see your love in me and that they would speak of your greatness! I pray that I would be a great witness of your faithfulness and power just as Nehemiah was. Please help me to not be selfish - that I would put the needs and interests of others before my own, and that I would be actively compassionate for the needy and lowly. Please help me to care about and fight for justice and please help me to follow your will and to know your word really well! Please help me to set aside the time to spend in your word, that I may pray and meditate on it and help me to memorize is also! Lord please help me to pray for my enemies and to love those who are hard to love. Thank you soo much that you love me, even though I can seem like an enemy when I ignore you and do my own thing instead of listening to you and being obedient to your word. Lord God please forgive me through the Lord Jesus' death and resurrection, the only way i am saved! Thank you for your generous forgiveness and please help me to not take your grace for granted. Please help me to take my sin seriously, and that I would flee from temptation and fall more in love with you each day! Amen.
