Prayer Request


As 2009 ends, I'd like to offer this collective appeal to our God. It's based on a song by Yolanda Adams, but as a prayer, I believe it expresses what so many of us want for the coming year.

Father God,
We'll say a prayer every night, that whatever we do for Christ, well get it right.

Once we surrender, we won't dare look back, Cause if we do, we'll get of track.

We'll Move ahead in faith and patiently await your answer.

Faith is sight beyond what we can see. But, You know what's best for us.

God, prepare our hearts and prepare our minds for whatever comes, we wanna be ready.

Please give us the strength to pass every test. We know that were so blessed. With you in control, we can't go wrong, cause this time were gonna be ready.

We've been free to do what we've wanted to. We've lost everything, but we still had you. You've shown us your grace. Now our lives are renewed and we thank you.

So, in 2010, we'll tell everyone who'll listen - we'll testify bout how good you've been to us in 2009.

Even when we were so broke down, you showed us so much mercy.

Father, use us to do your will, we'll pay the price cause you made the ultimate sacrifice. It's all because of you that we even have life. And,
In 2010, well give our hearts, our minds and our lives as a tribute to how great you are. Amen.

OK... 2010, let the devil bring it on, cause were gonna be ready!

As Yolanda would say... God is just good!

Personally, I am so tremendously greatful to all those willing to pray on this board. It has strengthened my prayer life and allowed me to see just how powerful it is when we pray with and for each other. I pray that you've all been equally blessed.
