Prayer Request


I just discovered by accident that my husband had not been truthful today despite his show of affection in the morning. He went to work or so he said, but then I later learned that he had not been at work all day. The reason he gave his office for taking the leave could not be true because I knew for a fact that reason contained info I knew to be false. My heart sunk and ached as soon as I found out about this. I didn't know what to do.

We had an argument first over something else, which led to this discovery, but later the argument grew and grew into the situation now: He has not returned from wherever he is and our children and I are now tired out worrying about him. What should we do? What can one do when facing a lie?

I don't want to separate from him. There has been much good between us and in our family. What I do want is for him to come clean and realize the harm his actions have done to him, me, and our family. Is there a prayer that can help with this? Is there a prayer that can alleviate the pain my children and I and also my husband are feeling? Is there a way to keep this family whole?

I am limp from being tensed all afternoon. How long must this last? Dear God, please kindly heal us. Please. Thank you. Amen.
