Prayer Request


Dear God, please help me with my new puppy. She is so sweet most of the time. And I have grown to love her. My older dog is not getting along with her at all. She is definitely balking at any kind of training to not use the bathroom on my bed. But the main problem is biting. I am black, blue, and yellow from all the bruising and cuts from her teeth and she's only a puppy. I do not like hitting a dog, but I have found myself swatting at her, because she just won't calm down. Mainly it's over food and treats. Now it's starting over taking things away from her she shouldn't have. I have had dogs for 60 years and never encountered this. The change in personality that overtakes her is frightening and so quick. I think she was abused by a boy with problems that was in the house of the people who had her for the first 4 months. I paid a lot for her, but know I may need to give her up if I can't control the biting. I have been putting her into her carrier for a while after she bites, but just getting her into it usually means more bites. Please help her and me. Let me know what to do. I cry almost daily over her. I know there are greater problems in the world, but my dogs have been my comfort in life. It is so bad when your comforting thing in life turns into your greatest problem. In Jesus's name. Amen.
