Prayer Request

If it's God's plan, why pray for things to change for the better. I have prayed that my fiance regain his memory which he lost in a brain injury 1 1/2 year ago. But if it's God's plan for him to not have memory, why am I praying and crying and stressing and worrying if he will regain it. Maybe I'm just loosing faith but I'm tying so hard not to. Please pray for me.
