Please do not loose your faith in God for this will be harder than loosing your life itself. I suggest you go to church often, keep praying a lot and read parts of the Holy Bible everyday. Our Lord is kind and metciful - that is Our Lord - He loves all his children and takes good care of them. He does not think praying to Him is funny, He listens to your prayers for sure and will interfere in your life at the right moment which He decides. It is our sins and the corrupted world we are living in that causes us to fall into temptation and make mistakes, but Our Lord does not punish us for our sins as long as we quickly admit our sins and ask for forgiveness. If sometimes God allows a bad experience or sickness to pass in our life, this is done under his control in order to turn to Him always and start to know Him better and to strengthen our faith in Him more. Pray to Him and ask Him instead to strengthen your faith in Him and give you the power to endure what you are facing until He shows you the way to get out of it and lighten your path to Him. God bless you and hope to hear later that you became bettet in your faith.
