I am so proud of you for keeping yourself for God and your future husband. I am a 39 year old, single mother and I have promised the Lord that I would not have sex again unless the Lord gives me a godly man that will love me and treasure me the way God does. I know first hand how hard it is to not give in to sex. However, my last boyfriend, accepted and respected my decision,but continued to pressure me to have sex and things got heated one night and although we didn't have sex, we/I felt guilt. The next weekend he started dating other women and the next weekend he took the other woman out of town for the weekend. I was heart broken, because we were talking about the future and possibly getting married one day. I now know that he didn't really love me or else he would have respected me and waited. He made it clear by his actions that I was not worth the wait. Even though we were not together sexually, my heart was totally broken. I can only imagine how truely devastated I would had been if we had had sex and formed a soul tie. You will know whether or not your boyfriend really loves you if he stays commuted to you and only time can show someone's true intentions.
