Acne is a big deal to someone who has it. All thru high school I was put on antibiotics which never helped. I tried all the over the counter stuff. I know how self-conscious it makes you feel and how cruel people can be. would like to suggest a few things to you that you can try, but of course keep praying about it too. The best prescription thing you could ask for is duac topical gel, also known as benzaclin. It hA benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin(an antibiotic) in it. It's the only topical thing that did me any good. Or you can go to skintactix.com, and buy a kit which I did and it helped me somewhat. You will get a cleanser and a couple of other things. If you purchase something from them, they'll send you instructions on how to apply the stuff (its natural by the way, no harsh stuff in it) and they'll give you an email address that you can specifically write to a person with any questions and they will give you other suggestions on things you could try to avoid or supplements to try. **I'm guessing you have suffered with this for awhile so waiting several weeks would be do-able. Also, your makeup can make a big difference. If you have not tried cliniques foundation for acne prone skin, give it a try. It provides good coverage and theres a little salicylic acid in it to help treat and prevent breakouts. I've used it for years and when my acne gets really bad, I'm able to at least cover it up pretty well. You don't have to buy all their products so don't let them talk you into it. Just get the foundation and you can still use whatever powder you want. That's about the best advice I have for you, and don't give up. It takes time, and I know youre ready to be able to look people in the eye again and not wonder what they are thinking. Acne is detrimental to a person emotionally, but theres things you can try.
