Prayer Request


Never once have my mother every told me she love me...i dont understand y she treats new the way she do. ..lord I ask that that u forgive her for all she has done to me physically n emotionally...i know I havent been a perfect daughter but i am her daughter and I hope she realizes how much shes hurting me.. u have called my father home with his fight with cancer so I would like to have happiness with the one parent i have let... Lord I ask that u fix this relationship... I ask that you soften her heart n teach her to love me unconditionally .. My son is attached to her and hes fully aware of his surroundings I dont want him to witness my pain. Amen

It breaks my heart that you want a loving relationship with your mother and she hasn't made any attempt for this. You said she has abused you physically and mentally. Right? Maybe she feels guilty and unworthy. You said you weren't the perfect daughter...so the next time you are with her..say,"mom, I know we've had our bad moments, but I want you to know that you mean alot to me and I need to tell you this and that I love you". Then just go and do something else or just leave. Every time you finish a talk on the phone or leave her home....tell her you love her. If your son is with you...say, "we love you, see you later". Your son should start saying it soon too. Unless your mother is totally unemotional, she should be saying it too.
