Prayer Request


God, I am so emotionally drained. I can't carry all of this by myself. My friends are struggling with difficult things like depression or guy problems. They tell me everthing and it is heavy. I have a friend with leukemia, and she is about to do chemo again. She has been fighting this cancer for a long time. My dad keeps bugging me about my grades. He is dissappointed that I made a couple B's last semester and he says that now there is a less chance of me getting a scholarship. He is always talking about how i need to be able to get a good scholarship. He says that my sister will but he doesnt know if I will. I make very good grades. I am starting to feel like he is comparing me to my sister. But I always feel like someone is dissappointed in me. My little brother is getting some testing to see where he is at intellectually, and it is pretty low for his age because of the tuberous sclerosis. My parents don't know if they can afford to send me and my sister back to our private school next year. I have a friend who I feel like betrayed me. My church is going through a rough time. We have been looking for a new pastor because our last one was fired. We are having a church split and it is destroying our church. I feel like I have all these expectations to live up to and I can't, then I feel like people are dissappointed in me. I need you right now, God. Be by my side and help me get through this. I know you will always be with me and that you will always help me. Nothing is too hard for you to handle. Help me to focus solely on You.

I usually don't read through long prayers but yours is special. You sound like a wonderful person who tries real hard to please friends and loved ones. You are doing right to stick by God. He hears you and promises not to give us more than we can handle. Im praying for you too! God bless.

Always remember- that god will NEVER grant you with something in your life that you can't handle. You will get through this! I pray that your friend and brother is ok, I pray ur family is doing good, along with ur grades, I pray you get the scholarship!
