Prayer Request

Please some spirtual advice needed from male and female point of view. My husband of 15 yrs has not yet apologized to me or is even trying to save our marriage. It was discovered some time ago that he has been calling and texting another women at work for more than 3 mnths. If I had not snooped into his phone, I would not have known. Except for his actions. He was treating me different. Then there was a letter to her, expressing how he felt. Using words like he loved her, she was beautiful and **** to him. After all of this i was crushed. I have ALWAYS been FAITHFUL to him. Now there is a death in his family and he wants me to go with him. On next Mon is my appt with a divorce lawyer that he is aware of. I have prayed and try to forgive him, but it is very hard. We are in the same house but in different rooms and have not communicated except concerning bills. LORD forgive me for using this site for Guidence and direction. I Believe in GOD and His Word! I don't want to have mixed emotions and need to know that maybe it is really Over.

I cant offer spiritual advice but can encourage you to search your heart for what you really want. If its the marriage, fight for it. If it isnt what you want, get angry and get everything you can while hes feeling guilt. I was in your shoes. The guilt wears off and they try to mske it your fault and take you for everything youve got together.

For better or worst. The devil comes to destroy what God has put together God says he hate divorce. We are to forgive that's the first step. The next is to see if your husband wants to work things out. If he doesn't than you pray that God ease your pain and give you the strength to get threw it. I know its painful as I am going through a similar situation. Seek God for direction he listens and will answer you.
