Hi my friend. Remember this person has rejected Jesus or His commandments at least, before he has rejected you. Jesus knows your pain, he will restore you. It's normal to feel hurt after being rejected, but try to lift your head up and take it as a compliment of your faith. Seriously, you would not want to live your life with a person who lives that way, it would be a lifetime of pain. You're on the right path, the narrow path, and you're doing good. I pray that God will bless you abundantly for not giving in, for standing up for what is right, and for keeping the faith. This life isn't always easy but hold your head high. You are a child of the King!

If his lifestyle is not your lifestyle, then your lifestyles would clash as a couple. Be grateful you are not stuck in a relationship in which you would most likely be unhappy. He has decided his path, and right now, his path is not the narrow one. You cannot change him to be as you would have him be. Just as you choose to refrain from drugs and alcohol, he chooses to not refrain from them..... I agree with the above commentor and agree with her/him in faith and prayer.

You sound like someone that knows what they want and not willing to sacrifice and lower standards if that means doing things that's not you.
