Prayer Request


I feel so very alone. My husband was my whole world and then he cheated on me and left me for the other woman after a 25 year marriage and knowing each other for 35 years. He has been ice cold to me in our divorce like I never meant anything to him at all when throughout our marriage he always told me he loved me and that I was his soulmate. He even told me he loved me w/ all of his heart just 3weeks before he didn't come home anymore when I found out about everything. He was actually having two affairs at the end; one he is planning on marrying now...the other he sees every so often. I was married to someone who is a excellent liar, actor, con-artist, fraud and manipulator...
and evil. I have no family nor close friends because he always told me we were best friends. We did everything together, spent all of our time together. Now I am all alone in my fifties. It's excruciatingly lonely for me. I can't stand it. Too alone; too lonely.

What is in store for me now and for the rest of my life but sadness, lonliness and heartache? I am too old to start over now, too old for anyone to want me anymore, even too old to make new friends at my age. Not to mention I am losing my home with the divorce and my ex has destroyed my finances and credit. I may end up in bankruptcy because of all of this. My future feels completely empty and gone..

God, if you hear me, please help me.

Sorry to hear about your husband cheating on you :(
You are never too old to find love or/and friendship but just give yourself sometime before looking for another relationship.

I'm so sorry to hear about what's happened to you. Don't ever think it to be shameful to divorce because of adultery for Jesus Himself that's one of the acceptable reasons for it.

Don't ever think it's shameful to be alone, because it isn't. Remember what the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 7.

As for friends, you have the entire body of Christ at your side. You have many brothers and sisters in Christ. Go to Church and befriends some of these brothers and sisters.

You are not alone. God heard your prayers and He is with you. He sees your now and your future. His word says, "for I know the plans I have for you. Plans to give you hope and a future". Cast your cares on Him and he will redeem you. Will keep u in my prayers. Have gone thru something similar.

Precious lady, praise Him thru this season of your life, easier said than done, right? You had the opportunity to love an earthly man and left you with nothing. I encourage you to love the heavenly groom, because He promises to never leave you and more importantly He loves you soooooo much. I pray that you feel His embrace full of love,protection and provision.
