Prayer Request


Lord I am desperate to feel your hand move in my life. I feel sad and lost at times and everytime things begin to look up they fall apart. Please help me. I don't sleep at night and my mind always worries. I am in need of a job also. I wish things would start to go right in my life.

I find that if I truly-and constantly-give my worries to God, and really believe He will guide me, there is no need for worry. Lay your burdens on Him. Try using words like "concern" instead of "worry"-it really does help because of course you're concerned, but Our Lord said, "be anxious for nothing!" I find if I put things-concerns-in His hands and use more positive words, I've found I don't "worry" so much! I've been doing that for a while now, and I've found it to be such a blessing! And as for sleeping, I find praying for people at night to be calming. When I pray for others & thank Him for relieving my stress and just thank him beforehand for a good night's sleep, eventually I drift off. And the more I practiced this, the easier it became, and the more rested and peaceful I feel. I pray you find comfort in Him as I have, it took awhile but I feel so blessed! I guess what I'm saying is count your blessings, not your sorrows! :-)
