Prayer Request


John 14:1-4
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.”

Jesus offers comfort to the disciples. The time is nearing when He will be arrested and betrayed; going to the cross in obedience to God the Father. Jesus' assurance is both for the disciples and for us; that He goes to prepare a place in His Father's house. With the news that He will be leaving comes news that He will also return to take us to be with Him. As believers we are called to live reflecting hope in that promise and look forward to the day of Christ's return. Jesus IS the way to the place He has prepared for those who believe.
