Prayer Request

A family member may be longing to confide in you, but has been burned in some way when dong so in the past. You may not even realize that you have hurt this sensitive person's feelings, and caused him or her to be fearful of being vulnerable in your midst. How did you cause this state of awkwardness? It probably wasn't anything earth-shattering. You may have laughed inappropriately during a serious conversation, or unknowingly repeated something you were told in confidence. The next time this person comes to you, show that you can be compassionate and discreet.
