Prayer Request


My dear Lord, in the embrace of your Spirit I find joy and peace. In the sanctuary of your holy presence, I feel loved.

You created all the universe. All that is, was and will be, are from you. Yet when we call out, you hear us. Our voices, our cries, our celebrations are all heard by you. Lord, please continue to hear my prayers.

Father, I ask for your forgiveness. I continue to act on my own will, and not pay enough attention to your perfect will for me. Help me to carry out of this time with you, the joy and peace that I know comes from you.

Jesus, I thank you for all the examples of upright living that you provide. I thank you for the victory over the enemy, that comes from the sacrifice you made. I am humbled at the thought that you would have suffered the same sacrifice for even one of us.

God, in the stillness of the morning, your glory is evident in the rising sun. You, that first gave breath to Adam, are gloriously the same as that first Word that brought light into being. Your promises do not go away. Your love for us does not fail. Your will for us does not grow weak. As the solid rock stands above the waves of a stormy sea, You are God. In all of creation, there is no other like You.

Thank you, Lord, for listening to my random prayers. I hope that they bring blessing to others, and even more glory to you. Amen.
