Prayer Request


Dear lord, I'm not sure why I'm in such emotional pain. Depression is dragging me down. Hurtful untrue thoughts circulate in my head. I know you love me lord. Please help me find strength. I'm calling out for you lord. I'm breaking down inside. Please lift me with your love and words. I'm having the hardest time in my life. Please lord, bring me close.

Sweet Kristin, I, too, have struggled with depression. It's sobgoid that you know those thoughts are negative: so don't believe them. Imagine, if it helps, tossing them out, like the trash! Make it funny, like a goofy movie. Sometimes, that helps me. Bless you!

Through your hard and depressing times Kristen remember what Jesus tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." When you grasp the impact of this scripture you will discover God can take you from sad to joyful. And just focus on the wonderful things that God has done for you and concentrate on doing his will for you. I am sure he has brought you through hard times before, this time will not be any different. You will make it. I am praying for you. Stay strong!
