Prayer Request

Love is expressed differently by different people. Someone very close to you sometimes has a strange way of showing love, but loves you nonetheless. However, if this person also has a tendency to berate you or generally make you feel bad about yourself, the pattern has to change. Try responding to any negative expressions in the relationship by being enthusiastic, warm, and giving, and see if anything changes. If it doesn't, you may need a professional counselor to intervene, or at the very least you should discuss your feelings with your loved one openly.
