dear God, please help me to distinguish a broken heart from a broken ego...I don't know what's real. I wanna know what's real. I wanna know love. what's love? I'm gulping, I'm gasping, my stomach is empty, and my pride is hurting. this heart is disheartened. I choose to ne full, not empty. one day closer to my eleventh month of sobriety. to celebrate...my mom flies in from afar. one love.
