Life Fellowship Church. Aug 30, 2009. You're going over, not under. Pastor Danny Robinson.

I came in today with a heavy heart and definetely needing some chains broken. Let's see what He reveals today.

Sermon: You're going over, not under.

Mark 4:35

God is not gonna let us get half way to our destination and then leave us. He promised to carry us through. He has never failed me yet. He will not let this storm overtake me.

Romans 8:31,37. *Psalm 107:29-30.
God will bring us to His appointed destiny for our lives because Jesus is with us. God promises to finish what He started in us.

God has a way of preparing us for the storms before they start.

Storms are temporal, God's word is eternal. We need a word from God more then anything in our lives. His word is more powerful than any storm that could happen.

2 Cor 4:18.

He that hears and does what the word says has built his foundation on the rock.

Storms will try to wear you out, but God's word will cause you to shout.

Mark 4:15. 4:17. 4:40

Fear activates the enemy. Fear not.
Our greatest challenge is what is going on in us and how we respond to the storm. We need to quit asking for things to change and start asking for greater strength.

1 Peter 1:7. James 1:3. Psalm 61:1-3.

Your uplook will determine your outlook. Look to him and not the past coping mechanisms to get me through.

Mark 4:39. Mark 5:1
Srart speaking peace, be still. His word will see us through any storm that could come. We will reach our haven!

At the point when we are at our weakest that is when God can do the most dramatic changes if we stay focused on Him.

The Holy Spirit never ceases to amaze me! The enemy did all he could do today to keep me out of church today and even tried getting me to go to another church today. I was right where I needed to be. Thank you Father for Your revelation today. This sermon was for me without a doubt.
