Dear God,
Some days, the pressure to resist temptation to sin is hardest to overcome. I am aware of this, because I have begun to develop such a deep connection with you.. that the thought of upsetting you makes me cry. I only want you to be proud of me. I know all of the strength I have to conquer sin is through you; you have equipped me with all I need. I will continue to look to you for your guidance, God. Only you know all this is good. Thank you for all your patience with me. It gives me enormous comfort knowing you will watch over me. Amen.
