Prayer Request


Dear Lord jesus,
I beg of you to help me with my anxiety and depression. I'm doing everything I can to stay afloat. I dont want my two little girls to see me like this. I try so hard to hide it from them. But I know they see it.
I beg you oh Lord, please help my wife to see that your love and grace are far more important than money or anything it can buy. Please help mend the problems between her and my mother.
Oh Lord, I am so greatful for all the gifts you have given. Especially my two daughters. I am so sorry for asking for more. But I truly need your protection. I so scared all the time. Please please help and protect me.

Don't appologise for asking God for more - He's been waiting for you to ask so that he can shower the desires of your heart upon you. God is your Dad, provider and helper, never feel unqualified to receive from Him - you're His son whom He loves - a son if a King which therefore makes you royalty, and qualified.

Anxiety and depression are not fruits of the Spirit so put them up on the cross and leave them at the feet of Jesus. Read Galatians 5:22-23 and declare the fruits of the Spirit over your life, the love, the joy, the peace - ask for a divine exhange and be prepared to receive with your hands wide open, rather than maintaining the mindset of isolation where you think these things aren't available for you. I highly reccommend you try 'soaking' -- just laying down, being still before God and listening to some Christian music. if you don't have any I can reccommend you many many artists & there's a radio station called 'K-Love' which you could listen to online or download the app :) God bless you man, I'll keep you in my prayers until your heart swells with joy and you find the Prince of Peace's angelic presence apparant in your family home so that the real emotion smothered across your faces will be contagious happiness radiating the love of Jesus in Jesus' name amen!

& remember that fear is not compatible in love. I used to be scared all the time until I realised I was believing lies. Apply the truth to your life and tell your fears that God is greater. For example I used to be scared of the dark believing that somebody would jump out and kill me - this is blatently an irrational thought but the enemy used to terrify with death. But now I laugh at fear in the face, quoting scriptures like 'to you the night shines as bright as day, darkness and light are the same to you (psalm139)' etc etc. I know that when I find fear/hopelessness in my thoughts, I've been deceived because my God is greater, He is with me and He is for me. hope this helps :)
