When do you stop praying for something? When you just say, god isn't going to answer you?

Maybe he isn't leaving the prayer unanswered...maybe he's just answering with a response you didn't expect.

Never stop but be sure you are not asking for something you should not ask for. Sometimes it take weeks months even years to get answers. Be sure you have all sins confessed to God and repent. Sin will slow things down even prevent God from blessing you and open the door for the tormentors to torment you.
