(NIV) 1 Chronicles 28:9 "And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

'Lost' please know that God has not forgotten u, that is IMPOSSBLE, He has promised to never to leave nor forsake us. Yes it may feel that ur all alone and no answers r comin, but I hurge u to hold on, just keep thanking the Lord for ALL that He is doin, things that u cannot see, or may not even understand, ur not surpose to understand how God works Jus know and believe that He is workin on ur behalf the best possible way out. Prayers are sent out for you right now, ask for forgiveness, u were Jus having a moment of insanity, which we all have from time to time, repent, thank God for all He is doin, you'll see everythin will seem better tomorrow after a good nite sleep. Thank you all, and I know you're right I need to find that passion I had for him at one point. I desperately want to feel happienss with him again like I did as a child.

What has caused you to lose your passion and joy? Why do you feel cast aside by the Lord?

Yes I do. Prayers don't work he does what he wants so what's the point. I feel like I don't know him he's not the same God I was told about

What prayer is He not answering for you? The God I serve knows "the end from the beginning" so I trust that He whose "thoughts are greater than our thoughts and whose ways are higher than ours" knows what is best.

Have you been born again by asking Jesus into your heart to forgive you of your sins because He died in our place on the cross and shed His blood for us? Do you believe He died and rose on the third day and He now sits at God's right hand where He makes intercessions in prayer for us?

Linda, first I d like to thank you. And yes I believe that he did die for us and rose again. I believe that he knows the beginning and end. I have been a devout Christian all my life buy what I don't understand is why when he sees someone in pian he pushes the pain to point where a person feels that he forgot them. I'm tired of feeling that the one person that is supposed to never hurt you is the one person that makes you feel so much worse. As to my prayers, well that's something I'm giving up on.
