Prayer Request


Jesus, I pray that you make me strong! My body is your temple, I have been struggling with sin on my body for these many years, you let me see that this is not pleasing to you, and it cuts and blocks all the blessings from you, and it only leads to my spiritual death. I decide to give up my selfish desire and follow you. please protect me from satan's attacks and speak to me when I am about to sin. I wow to treat my body well, with discipline and glory from god, amen!

I feel you--I find the following prayers/verses helpful when I am taking a stand. Also check out Romans 8:1-6. I'd try and memorize it if I were. Jesus always is enough--he will bring you victory!

Thanks! I have failed so many times that I have given up. Recently god called me back so I have a deeper relationship with our lord but I keep sinning against god. I pretend this is not a problem and I was living a double life, loving god and the world, my mind thinking about god and thinking about dirtiness and sinful desires. I lived like this until last Thursday 2 days ago, after a sister prayed with me, holy sprit spoke to her and gave her the verse about sin, god told her and me it's a matter of life and death. I can't avoid it anymore because otherwise all my prayer will be useless and all that I do will be meaningless. Yet I don't have faith in overcoming my sin because I have failed a hundred times (literally) on my own. Now Jesus and the holy spirit is my only savor and hope, help me god! Amen!

By the way, that sister also read Romans 8:1-6, the same verse you listed. It's truly god speaking to me!
