Prayer Request


Heavenly Father,

I want to "thank" you for allowing me to live to see another day. Because without you, I would not be here. I want to bless my family and friends. Lord keep everyone safe and give them the strength to make smart decisions as they go through their day. We sometimes do not think before we react, but react before we think. Please continue to bless my family and friends and touch our hearts. Today is going to be a long day for me. I have lesson plans to finish, reflections to write, and lesson plans to prepare for my students. I ask if you will please keep my on track because at times my mind do wander. I ask you to please help me get as much accomplished as I can. December 17, 2011 is around the corner, and I will claim it becuause it's mine...I will claim it because I know you want me to...I will claim it because I worked hard to get this far and I haven't given up through all the sick days,stressed days, worrying days, and crying days. I know everything happens for a reason, and you made it happen for me Father. You saw that I was almost headed down the wrong path with my life. I was thinking with my heart and feelings, and not my head. I was too caught up in being in a relationship at a young age, caught up in trying to make someone else happy but myself, caught up in trying to worry about the materialistic things instead of managing my money the correct way. They say you either listen and learn or live and learn...You made me live and learn and I "thank" you for that. Even though I beat myself up a lot over the decisions I made, I made them. No one forced me. Please, help the next young girl who is headed in the direction that I was at the age of 19 before it is too late. I am now 25 years old, single, no kids, and I am about to graduate from college. Yes, it is NEVER to late for anything. Lord, you are my everything and I love you. In the name of Jesus I pray
