My Bishop always says when one door closes another one is about to open. Be encouraged, God will never leave you nor forsake you.
Maybe this will give you the opportunity to think about what you really want to do and are passionate about.
I know this is a challenge, I to have felt the effects of a layoff, but god will guide you through this... keep your faith strong and he will open that door...
