Prayer Request


We are called to have a clear conscience toward God and toward men, in our hearts and in our minds, in our actions and inactions. To do so, it is vital that we examine our conscience daily and to ask for God’s mercy as we fall short and to ask for His strength to do better.

For all my shortcomings today and for not following your divine inspirations, forgive me, O Lord.

For all the sins in thought, word or deed, forgive me, O Lord.

For the hand I didn't extend to help those in need, for the word of comfort and hope I didn't share, forgive me, O Lord.

For my lack of love toward my neighbors, forgive me, O Lord.

For not fully trusting in your mercy, forgive me, O Lord.

For not pitting you in the center of my life, forgive me, O Lord.

For not being diligent I'm the fulfillment of my duties, forgive me, O Lord.

For not testifying all the time with my own life, forgive me, O Lord.

Lord I ask you to wash away my iniquities and cleanse me from my sin and fill this night with your radiance, that I may sleep in peace and rise with joy to welcome the light of a new day in your name. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
