Prayer Request


Lord, sometimes we ask you the wrong things and then we get mad at you when you don't answer our prayers in the way we expect.

You give us what we really need, because sometimes what we want is not the best for us. Our understanding of things might be limited or clouded by the wrong feelings, by passions of the flesh, by misunderstandings, by a concience that is not formed and trained according to your laws and what you've revealed to your Church.

You always look at the big picture and in the end you want us with you in Heaven, enjoying the Banquet you've prepared for us. So, I ask you in this hour that you heal our minds and our souls that we can better understand your will for our lives. Send the Spirit of Truth to remind us your words and make our hearts humble enough to accept that sometimes your answer to our prayers is a simple "No".
