Boy i know what you are going through. I have lived with my mom for 22 years & to finally leave a nest where i felt safe was hard. And as for marriage what experience did i have. I knew it was for better for worse for sickness & in health & until death do us part. Marriage i found to be wonderful & challenging. For one i was finally out on my own & 2 i knew there was a man willing to marry me to do the job that my mom had done for so long. And though it was hard in the soon to be 7 years we have been married i must say he has done a good job. So my advice to you is this. Follow your heart. Re-examine why your getting married & ask God to be the center of your marriage & he will get you through this. Your parents will always be your parents & they love you & will be there for you when you need them. But now it's time for you to leave & have the life that your parents always dreamed of you having. Give them the gift that they deserve & that would be to walk down that aisle & be happy. Your parents will be fine knowing that man your about to marry has promised them to do a good job of taking care of you & keeping you safe & with that said your parents gave their blessings to you both.
