Prayer Request

Where are You, God?

Nothing ever turns out good for my family or me. My mom's leg is killing her, my father's a selfish tyrant, I've practically lost all my friends despite how much I've given to them and now I'm so lonely it hurts. I just want people to like me.

Now, on top of it, my uncle, a recent victim of an UNFAIR divorce... is in an auto accident.

Where are You, God?! Where??? I'm tired of crying out and getting nothing but silence. My family needs blessings... not more disasters.

I just want something to go right. Please God, stop being silent. My family needs Your protective arm around us. Especially my uncle.

Please, God. Please. Please. PLEASE... end all the suffering my family endures.

We can take it no longer.

Please read the Book of Job. In addition, note that your cries are not that different from the cries in the Book of Psalms. That does not mean, however, that He is too far above us to care.

Many women experience physical pain as a result of their not being covered by their husbands. See A MORE EXCELLENT WAY by Henry Wright. Your father is not a Godly man in his actions. God does not interrupt man's free will to be wicked. On the other hand, your mother chooses to remain in this situation, for whatever reason. I am not knocking your mom. She is probably a precious woman.

I am sorry for all that you are going through, but God is who He says He is. He loves you. Make no mistake about that. It is okay to be angry, but hold on. Learn His word. Understand who He really is. I pray you will, in Jesus' name.

God loves you and is there, even if you can't see him.

Yes, he really does and he listens.
