Prayer Request


Lord thank you for all blessings you have bestowed upon me and my family. Please forgive me of all my sins. I come to you this morning to ask that you continue to bless me. God I have been stressed which I believe has caused my body to tense up. Please show me or guide me in a way to relieve this stress so it will be removed from my body. I need peace. My mind is in a lot of places and I have a lot going in my life. Remove the negative thoughts dear God and all the stress symptoms from body. The stiff neck,headaches, high blood pressure sleepless nights and panic attacks. I need you God to restore my mind and body! Claiming my victory over this situation.

Hi Josette,

Because my wife has had to fight the high blood pressure problem, I understand your fears; however, your fears--panic attacks--are part of the problem! Ironic, huh? Fear, anxiety and stress. Fear comes when we are thinking about things going wrong, future things. Problem is, we can't argue with fear! Easier said than done, I know.

Here are a few scriptures to help you, although the second one has nothing to do with you.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
Psalm 46:1-2

YAWEH is on my side. I will not fear what man can do to me.
Psalm 118:6

For I YAWEH your God will hold your right hand, saying unto you, "Fear not. I will help you."

Finally, anxiety predicts the future. More often than not the prediction turns out to be wrong. I pray that in your present circumstance that you will be strong, will take your eyes off of impending disaster and put them on a good tomorrow. There is a song that goes something like this: "Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives all fear is gone." so finally, keep your eyes on Yeshua (Jesus).. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Ask god to give you peace, to take your worries and put his healing hands on you. Pray for this day and night. When you feel a panic attack know that it will pass. Sit or lay down, close your eyes, focus on your breathing and on each of the muscles, relaxing them. Know that even though you feel very scared and think something bad will happen, it wont. It's just sensations in the body that are making you uncomfortable. Its so scary I know because I have anxiety and panic attacks too. Exercise helps and taking a warm shower to help calm your nerves. Stay away from caffeine, alcohol, and very sugary things, which can speed up your heart and possibly trigger a panic attack. A lot of anxiety can be controlled with your thinking and self comforting thoughts. Wishing you all the best.
