Prayer Request


Dear Lord,

Thank you so very much for your many blessings in my life! For my husband, my kids, my other family, my dog, the fact that we have a roof over our head and are financially pretty stable...and for generous sellers on the house that we are looking at. It was almost unbelievable how they decided not to sell to the cash buyers...and after hearing a little bit about our family, decided that they wanted to help us out! Dear Lord, thank you and bless them for their generosity! Please don't let them be offended by our low offer, since it is a stretch to afford this house for us!

More importantly, Lord, today you reminded me how small this whole struggle is in the grand scheme of things! My dear friend from work is starting chemo today for pancreatic cancer. Please, Lord, let Carol be in the 1% who beat this cancer for many years! Please help the chemo and radiation to be successful in putting the cancer in remission...and heal her pancreas and liver so that they can function again! Please help her through her chemo - help her to get enough rest and let it be easier than she expected. Keep her support system around her and dear Lord, don't let any of us forget her in our daily lives this summer. Help us to know what we should do to support her best during this terrible and scary time in her life!

I pray also for my parents and their house sale. They cannot really continue to keep up the property in the fashion that they have been, and with my mother being allergic to everything on the planet now...she needs to move to an environment with fewer allergens. Dear Lord, please bring them the right buyer very soon! Help them to sell their house so that they can move into the house they hope to buy before it also disappears.

Dear Lord, please keep my husband safe tomorrow during his cortisone shots, and please help them to be effective in alleviating the pain from the arthritis in his back. Please help them to locate and do what is necessary to alleviate the pain from the cervical disc that appears to be herniated as well.

Dear Lord, I pray that you would help him and I (and our children) to live our lives for you! Please help him and I to be good examples for our children and help us to teach them how to live godly lives! I pray also for our relationship, that we continue to grow closer and learn how to work together more with each passing day. Please help us especially to learn how to pray together on a regular basis!

Thank you again, Lord, for your many, many blessings on our family!
