Prayer Request


Lord, please help me to make better decisions in my life & to not be so hard on myself when I make mistakes. I know I am only human & cannot do this on my own. I need ur strength & guidance to help lead me. Please guide me down the right path & help me to learn from my mistakes. In Jesus name, I pray...Amen.

I was reading your prayer, and it took me back b/c I use to be like that. God knows our struggles and the things we deal with. But what helped me was, I forgave myself. Then, I asked God to forgive me. Let me tell you why.. what good was it going to be for me to ask God to forgive me if I didnt forgive myself. I would have still felt like I was wrong for whatever I did. I learned that he knows that we will fall short thats why he sent his Son Jesus to die for us so that we could have life again, so we wouldnt have to die in our sin. But since he knows we are going to make mistakes, thats not an excuse to keep messing up. We have be proactive in our fight for righteousness and ask God for guidance and He will surly do that. But I hope I havent given you too much or told you something you already knew. I dont know you but I wish the best for you and your family.

Thank u! I always feel like I'm letting God down when I do something wrong, but now I am learning to forgive myself, & once I repent, he has forgiven me also. I thank u so much for ur comment. It feels good to know that someone can relate (although I'm sure plenty can) God Bless! :)
