If this is only a mood swing, I wouldn't worry, but if the depression continues it might indicate a medical situation. Depression is associated with changes in substances in the brain (neurotransmitters) that help nerve cells communicate, such as serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. The levels of these neurotransmitters can be influenced by a number of things, many of which are outside a person's direct control. These include physical illnesses, genetics, personality, substance abuse, diet, hormonal changes, medications, aging, brain injuries, seasonal/light cycle changes, and social circumstances (e.g. lack of social support) - or any combination of these factors. If it continues, you just might want to consult a physician. In any case, I pray God's blessings over you.

I know how you feel. I have been going through my ups & downs too. I know u don't want to worry your mom, but your mom will worry more if u don't tell her. I don't know if u are really close to your mom, but your mom might just be able to help you. Your mom loves you & want to be there for you. Don't be afraid to tell her the truth. Telling her the truth just might set you free. And if u can't go to your mom them go to God or a friend that u trust & let it all out.
