Prayer Request
I submit to You , God , for You to hold me . As you tested Joseph's character through his hurtful experiences at the hands of his brothers , I know Your shaping mine . Search my heart, Holy Spirit , and expose my sinful reactions to this hurt . I repent of damaging attitudes such as bitterness, pride and gossip .
Father , let your life giving Spirit flow through me and wash away my anger and pain , replacing them with Your selfless love . I remember the richness of Your kindness to me while I was still a sinner . Now help me to extend that same quality of mercy and kindness to another .
