Prayer Request

My Soul Thirsts for You:

O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You;
my flesh faints for You,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary,
beholding Your power and glory.
Because Your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips shall praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
in Your name I will lift up my hands.
Psalm 63:1-4 (ESV)
There is always reason to hope when God is involved.
When the focus of your mind is set on Christ and His ability, your heart will cease to be troubled.
Peace will reign.
It allows God an opportunity to become fully involved in your life.
It helps us to understand the love of God.
True faith lies in wrestling with the Lord in prayer. Gen. 32:22-32 (ESV)
Jacob wrestled with God until he was blessed.
Nothing requires more energy and exercise than wrestling.
It is an emblem of the true spirit of faith and prayer.
Jacob kept his ground, though the struggle continued long.
This did not shake his faith, nor silence his prayer.
Prayer is an expression of sole dependence on the Lord for help. He alone is the "Rock" who gives strength and sustenance to His people. Psalm 28:1-2
God is my Rock, on whom I build my hope. Psalm 27:14
Our confidence is in God's grace and care.
Let us confide in God. He knows what we are and what we need.
Almighty God will make everyone of our agonies an instrument of His mercy to do us good. We long for our faith to be strong. Therefore let us have faith in the scriptures, the word of God.
God's children run home when the storm comes on.
Choose to praise God and not doubt Him, because He has a purpose in everything He does.
Stand firm in the promises of God!
We need to trust God as He leads us on the journey of faith.
God only gives enough light so we can take the next step in faith.
If prayer is not answered right away, He knows we are not ready for what He sees ahead.
The fervent prayer is a effectual prayer.
Desperation does not need to lead to wrong behavior.
But can actually lead a person closer to God. With actions that are pleasing to God in His sight.
Never doubt God. He sees what we cannot see.
What ever you are facing at the moment, the pain you are going through. The worry and fear you are facing. Look to Heaven. And by faith, trust in Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
