Prayer Request

David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives. Nothing was missing: young or old, boy or girl, plunder or anything else they had taken. David brought everything back.

The Amalekites had attacked Ziglag, David's home and carried off David's wife and kids, all his possessions and all of his finances, and basically left him broke and without a family. Has the Amalekites (the enemy of God and His people) invaded your land? Has he disrupted your home life? Has he carried off your children? Maybe he has stolen all your finances: your savings, your investments, or your promotions at work. David and his men found themselves in this position. His men cried and cried until they had no more strength, then they turned on David, the anointed man of God. David, however, found strength in the LORD. He sought the face of God and went in pursuit of the Amalekites although he had no idea where to find them. So, if you are in David's position sharing David's fate, do as David did, go in pursuit even though you don't know exactly where to go. Your battle is a spiritual one, you fight it on your knees and with fasting, and when you grow tired keep pursuing, that is keep praying. The LORD will send someone who can help you as He did with David in the story. Then you will overcome the enemy and you will recover everything that the enemy had stolen from you. Nothing will be missing, you shall recover it all.

My Heavenly Father, Your Word was written down as an example for us to learn from and for us to obey. Your Word is also a weapon for us to use in spiritual warfare. LORD, help Your people to find their strength in You. Teach us the art of spiritual warfare and strengthen our heart that we will not become faint-hearted and give up. But help us to pursue the enemy and overcome him and take back all that he stole from us. Let nothing be missing O LORD. Thank You for the victory in Jesus name I pray, amen.
