Please don't give up hope in this despair. You really need to make a doctor appt. For your child at your family health clinic. Also ask for a referral for him to see a child counselor/therapist. He will balk at this, most likely, but take his vutt

#2 oops- take his butt, if you have to drag him But his hair! He needs to know what is acceptable behavior and what is not, at a real early age.! If you don't take him to the doctor, he will not get better; but he will get worse....Trust me on this advice,because I worked in Pediatrics in the A.F. for6 yrs and Family Practice for 3 yrs. He needs help fast! Please do this...he'll probably be put on Med and be wise to make him do this; let him know the doctor will do tests(blood) to make sure he is taking it and the level is ok. Make sure you watch him take the medicine and check his mouth in cheeks and under his tongue. Misbehaving children will push you to your limit in patience and pull all sorts of wily jinxs. He is seeing a doc and on meds now just seem to get worse and worse his doctor wants him to have rap around service which is better I guess I'm a single mom and it's just so hard....I don't want to give up but I just can't take it

What is rap around service?How long has he been on his meds? Try what the Dr wants you to try.ESP if it would give you a much needed break. Then, you can get some rest and do some re-grouping and maybe he would be more used to the medicine the Dr. Has put him on. Sometimes it could take weeks to become used to a drug ( the body). And maybe they could do a brain eeg. Or ecg. Sometimes bad behavior is caused by another problem.
Don't feel guilty if he needs to go have round the clock care for awhile- if it helps him, it will be worth it. You do what you have to do, which is probably what the Dr wants you to do.
