Dear God, I know that my silence about my addiction will prevent me from getting the family support and quicker recovery that need dearly. I'm sharing this prayer with you Lord and all my prayer friends, so that I could be looked upon unconditionally and guided along the path of well-being.

Not every addiction has to be shared with people in real life to be healed but that is for you to decide. Sometimes we can just say in general that we have an addiction that you're trying to break and ask for prayer from real life friends and not be specific. I too have an addiction I am trying to overcome. I will be happy to pray for you and could use your prayers too. God bless and may God give you strength and determination to reach your goal.
