Check out any charities before yougive any money or any of your time. Google the organization on the internet. You know people who need your financial help in your own neighborhood and you can buy them food, etc. Directly and you will know they need and use what you gave them. Don't send money to strangers when youcould give it to the needy who you know personally and thatway you will not be fooled by scam artists.
