I have been where you are before i got married. Before i married my husband we were living together in sin for six long years & all of our christian friends were telling us to either split or get married. So to answer your question the bible says we need to be married & not living in sin. So therefore it is better to get you own place until you both decide to get married. God doesn't like when two people are living together who are not married. However my advice to you is to talk to a pastor or better yet go directly to the source which is God himself & ask him to reveal to you both on what to do.
