Lord, I've been living with this illness a long time. Please give me strength to endure. When I am feeling lonely, helpless, even resentful of others who can do more than I can...help me always to remember to reach up to you and be in your presence. It is only you who can fill the emptiness inside of us, no matter what situation we're in. In Jesus' name.
