Because were sinners. God knows your heart. Don't forget that. Satan would want you to forget and be discouraged to the point of giving up. Repent, ask for forgiveness and move on. Repenting may not mean you won't make the same mistakes again but turn your back on that behavior, ask for help with it and forgiveness.

All things good are attractive and all man will yearn for something only our Lord Jesus can fulfill. The hatred is the devil wispering to you trying to drive you astray. Concentrate on what's right and let God fill your heart for he is all you will ever need. You will be so content and happy to live in Jesus name. Its good that you ask these questions because God has set his spirit on you. Be closer to him and let him in.

I was soooo there about 9 years ago and now I cannot even recognize who I used to be! At my lowest point, realizing that in Galatians it says that those who practice sin(in a continual "on purpose" manner) wil NOT enter the Kingdom, it was then that I cried out for him to help me find away out of my sin. I told Jesus that I trusted him to do this. And slowly but surely he did. And he will do the same for you, whatever your particular circumstance is!
